The old money in Sadashivanagar, Basavanagudi and Malleswaram and wealthy immigrants, especially of the professional / services class in Indiranagar and Defence Colony and more recently in places like Koramangala. Railway booking counter opened in Jayanagar

The railways have opened a booking counter in Jayanagar, enabling people to book open tickets, or unreserved tickets, for the day's trains. Now, you can purchase a ticket in Jayanagar and board the train at any of stations in the city.
